CACE Day 2022

The Central Aroostook Council on Education and Great Schools Partnership is proud to present CACE Day 2022!

After a 2-year hiatus from in-person professional development, CACE is excited to bring together educators from Central Aroostook County to strive to improve the art and science of educating the youth of Maine. CACE continues its commitment to providing opportunities for the school units of Central Aroostook County to collaborate, innovate, and together move education forward. September 16 will provide us all an opportunity to better our craft and fulfill our calling of providing a high quality education for all our students.

 

Keynote Speaker: Yellow Light Breen, President/CEO Maine Development Foundation. MDF is a non-partisan, statewide driver of sustainable economic growth in Maine. They connect people, decision-makers, and communities through trusted research, leadership development, and creative partnerships to stimulate new ideas, solve problems, and improve the lives of all Mainers.

 

Breakout Sessions provided by Great Schools Partnerships: Teaching practices that ensure and uphold equity in education.  Great Schools Partnership is a nonprofit school-support organization working to redesign public education and improve learning for all students. They are a team of passionate, committed educators and school leaders who bring decades of collective service in public schools.
