DESCRIPTION:The Central Aroostook Council on Education is pleased to present Candace Fuller and “Practical SEL”! \nThis class will go further in-depth on how to incorporate SEL into your daily classroom time. We will cover simple effective SEL tactics that can help you connect with your classes\, impart easy behavioral tools and cover basic classroom coping mechanisms for when your students are feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. We will also go over different classroom conversation prompts to further growth and SEL interactions in the classroom. \nCandace Fuller is a Social Emotional Learning Interventionist at Easton School Department with a Masters Degree in Psychology\, and a wealth of experience and knowledge to provide educators in the region. \nJoin us on the afternoon of February 7 in the multi-purpose room in the Campus Center Alumni Room at the University of Presque Isle for an event you won’t want to miss!
