DESCRIPTION:Join educators from around Central Aroostook County on March 24th at 8:30am at the University of Maine at Presque Isle for a morning of PBIS instruction\, discussions and steps for implementation. \n Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based framework for promoting a positive school climate and supporting students’ social\, emotional and behavioral learning. PBIS is a Multi-Tiered System of Support recognized by IDEA (see PBIS.org). \nPBIS establishes\, aligns\, and integrates data\, systems and practices in order to achieve district and school goals. In this training\, educators Brittany Morrison and Courtney Angelosante will provide an overview of the basics of PBIS and where to begin with your school’s readiness. \nAs a team you will have time to discuss your questions and develop a plan to start your PBIS journey! \nWe hope to see you there!
